This event will begin at Sip & Scoop in downtown Brentwood.
We will be meeting at 10AM. You have the option to purchase a beverage from the cafe if you'd like! There is a bathroom here as well.
We will be meeting on the sidewalk outside of Sip & Scoop while we wait for everyone to arrive & get their goodies from inside.
(for directions, it is listed as "Sip And Scoop California" on maps).
There is street parking all along Oak Street, surrounding streets, and there is free parking in the City of Brentwood Parking garage a block away.
At 10:15AM, I will give a little welcome message. We will then pair up and walk about 0.7 miles (about 16 minutes) to the playground at Heron Park on Garin Pkwy.
We will be walking down busier streets (Oak St & Garin Pkwy) so we will need to be mindful and use the buddy system! We will cross over two busy intersections, but they have stop signs.
We will hang out at Heron Park for about 45 minutes then head back to Sip & Scoop together.
There is a playground, swing set, picnic tables, and a walking trail at Heron Park.
The trail is paved and stroller friendly, but you can carry your little one if that's easier for you!
