We will be meeting at 9AM at Creekside Park in Brentwood! *note, there is a Creekside Park in Oakley as well, but we are not meeting at that one!
We will congregate by the playground to let the older kiddos play while we wait for all the mamas to arrive and wait for mamas to get their beverages. You will have the option to purchase coffee/a beverage from Plot & Pour Cafe who will be set up at Creekside Park this morning for us!
Around 9:20-9:30am, we will give a little welcome message and then we will walk Marsh Creek Trail together down to the parking lot off Concord Ave in Brentwood and then turn around and walk back to the playground at Creekside Park. This will be a longer walk, it will be about 2.6 miles roundtrip. We will need to be mindful about cyclists and runners while on this trail, making sure to communicate to each other when we need to move to the side for passing traffic. If you are bringing older kiddos, we recommend bringing them bikes or scooters to ride and making sure they are mindful of the same things!
*Note, there are only restrooms at Creekside Park. There is a water fountain at the end of the trail/the turning around point. As well as some picnic tables if you need to stop for a rest or do a diaper change.
Once we make it back to Creekside Park, we will congregate again by the playground. You are then free to leave whenever you wish, but we encourage mamas to stick around if they can and continue conversations with mama friends!
