Join us for our first "Mom Only" walk! We will meet with our sponsor Kylie Hempy PMH-C, AMFT-#136430 at her SOMO Cowork Office. There we will chat and Kylie will share with us her services and get the conversation going about Maternal Mental Health. We will then head out on a quick walk where you can get a chance to talk to Kylie one on one if you had any follow up questions. This is a mom event only, please keep littles over 1 year old at home. It will really give us a chance to connect with Kylie.
Here is a little more about Kylie:
Im Kylie (AMFT #136430, PMH-C) and I'm a mom of 3 kiddos and a perinatal therapist. I work with moms and dads when the journey to and through parenthood doesn't look like they expected.
Much of my work is focused on depression & anxiety in the perinatal period. Increasingly, I'm also finding that new moms are seeking help 6-12 months postpartum, and asking broader questions, like:
- how do I ask for time and space when there's so much that needs to get done?
- why do I feel guilty and what do I do about it?
- what could a balance between work and family that feels good and provides look like?
I also know what a key role friendships can play in the postpartum transition, which is why I reached out... I love the simplicity and inclusive nature of the Mom Walk Co and am happy to host you at our SOMO cowork office!
