WHAT IS MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID?

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Mental Health First Aid takes the fear and hesitation out of starting conversations about mental health problems by improving understanding and providing a safe, responsible action plan.

There is paperwork with this class and it is required to be completed 7 days prior to the class. The pre-work does not take long, but must be completed or you will be removed from the class.
