This is a 2- day course-

The first day is September 18 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM

The second day is September 25 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM

Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. This course will cover the topics of depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders as they relate to the older adults. We will also cover how to recognize that someone might have suicidal thoughts or behaviors and where to turn for help.

Note: This course is offered in two parts. Participation in both parts is required for certification and  must be taken together. Please be sure you are able to attend both parts when enrolling.
