Memorial Concert Celebrations
With heavy hearts, we announce the loss of two prominent cherished members of our
Polish Community
Mrs. Teresa Skrzynska Zarzycka
and
Dr. Magdalena Pogonowska
In their honor, we have planned a Musical Memorial Concert Event, filled with a panoply of live music performed by world class musicians in the incredible space of the First Church Sanctuary.
The program has been carefully curated to provide a truly immersive musical celebration to remember and embrace their lives and their legacy.
Teresa and Magdalena both were not only close friends but also passionate advocates for Polish music and cultural heritage.
Their friendship was founded on a shared love for our traditions, and together they spent countless hours dedicated to enriching and celebrating Polish culture, as well as enjoying the beauty of Sarasota’s sunshine.
Teresa and Magdalena were supremely gifted in their respective fields. Teresa’s exceptional musical talent and Magdalena’s immense contributions to Polish cultural projects have left an indelible mark on our community. Together, they created a lasting legacy, and their presence will be deeply missed by all who knew them.
