This class provides K–8 teachers with dedicated time to refresh and deepen their understanding of Mathematical Thinking Routines. Since all participants have previously been trained and are implementing at least one routine-based problem every two weeks, this course is designed to support the practice rather than introduce new content. During this collaborative learning experience, teachers will revisit the purpose and structure of Mathematical Thinking Routines, plan and refine upcoming problems, and share successful tasks and strategies across grade levels. Participants will analyze student thinking, discuss instructional moves, and reflect on what they are noticing in their Mathematical Thinking Classrooms—including engagement, discourse, and perseverance.
