Life in the City

Life in the City (LITC) is an event that targets Jr. High to High School aged youth. Using a concert style model, the Fresno/Madera Youth for Christ’s (YFC) City Life division and its partners use a concert style model to connect unchurched youth to Jesus Christ. LITC is a platform for local youth talent to portray the culture of our community and an opportunity to distribute relevant information that directly impacts the youth in Fresno County. Local artists will be the pre-show opener to a mainstream artist (this year’s artist is Shonlock).

LITC is also an opportunity for youth to gain work experience and develop leadership skills. Youth leaders can gain experience in the areas of marketing, promotions, event coordinating, administration, customer service, stage management and more. Finally, LITC is designed to connect newly saved youth with ministries and faith-based organizations in their areas. This helps ensure that youth who make a decision to follow Christ are paired with mentors who can speak into their hearts, walk with them through life and connect them to God.
