"Legislative Updates & the Power of Advocacy: What Louisiana Educational Professionals Need to Know"

Join the Louisiana School Psychological Association for a 90-minute virtual training focused on key education-related legislation passed during the 2025 Louisiana Regular Legislative Session. Designed for school psychologists and other educational professionals, this session will provide a clear overview of new Acts that directly impact professional practice in our schools. Participants will also revisit the vital role of early and ongoing advocacy in shaping sound education policy. Whether you're new to policy engagement or looking to strengthen your advocacy efforts, this training will equip you with the knowledge and tools to protect and promote the profession and student well-being. All participants will earn 1.5 CEUs for attendance, which also contribute toward the 10-hour minimum of NASP-approved credits per 3-year cycle for nationally certified school psychologists.
