This Thursday [July 11], at 8 p.m., as a part of STOHA architectural firm & NPATAK Educational Foundation month, LFA will host a lecture “Multiple portraits of a threshold-city - Ijevan”.
We will be discovering a city with layers to be uncovered, presenting its multiple portraits.
Lerna Bagdjian, an architect based in Geneva, will be presenting her theoretical master's research at EPFL on Ijevan, characterizing it as a 'threshold city'. She explores, in a poetic way, the dialectic between landscape, architectural heritage, and ideologies, as well as the themes of domesticity and flows at different scales. Architects, journalists and others will join the discussion to highlight the city's significance.
