Architects continue to experiment, trying out new combinations of functions and spatial solutions for environments and communities.

In Switzerland, where a sense of collectivity has institutional strength, the idea of “community” has particular importance. Its idea gives rise to various forms of non-profit housing construction. To describe this phenomenon we use the concept of a “village” (Siedlung). Using the example of 3 villages, we will talk about the architectural form by the interaction of the participants in the process.
