In 2026, the most effective prevention systems move beyond single-action models to integrate diverse, data-driven approaches. This workshop explores the six core CSAP Prevention Strategies—information dissemination, education, alternatives, problem identification/referral, community-based processes, and environmental strategies—within a modern, whole-person framework.
Participants will analyze current research demonstrating that combining three or more strategies significantly increases population-level impact and sustainability. By examining evidence-based practices in school and community settings, attendees will learn to design multi-strategy plans that address 2026 priorities, including health equity and trauma-informed care.
