PROGRAM OVERVIEW

It can be challenging when you are trying to engage a young person who is lacking the motivation to   secure employment and/or have no idea about what they want to do when they complete their studies.  The Launch Your Future (L.Y.F.) Program has been designed with this in mind; youth friendly and engaging resources that help young people to get into and excited about work, and obtain clarity on how to explore suitable career pathways.

The one day LYF Coach training program aims to  build the capacity of anyone who is engaging with young people, enabling participants to learn new strategies on how best to have effective career conversations with, and support young people in making employment, career and training decisions for life. Through this youth-centred approach, LYF Coach  training participants will be able to implement strategies  that will support a young person to identify their natural skills and abilities and apply them to the world of work supported by a LYF workbook that can be completed by young people.  The training is delivered by a qualified Thinq Group Careers Practitioner and Youth Employment Specialist.
