This is a basic handgun safety course required by the state of Tennessee to apply for and obtain your ENHANCED Handgun Carry Permit.
Application fee of $100 ($65 if active or honorably discharged military) payable to the Dept. of Safety and Homeland Security.
Allows Open or Concealed carry.
Permits will be issued for eight (8) years.
The permit shall entitle the permittee to carry any handgun - which the permittee legally owns or possesses.
Topics include basic firearm safety, general firearm nomenclature, selection of a firearm to meet your needs, different ammunition, and holster/carry options.
We cover the liabilities of carrying a firearm for personal protection, state laws and the importance of knowing what to expect if you must defend yourself during a violent encounter.
Also, we cover the basics of firearms marksmanship, such as sight alignment, trigger control, draw stroke and firearm manipulation.
We are teaching the curriculum per the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. Student MUST pass both the written test of 50 QUESTIONS as well as the Range Qualification Course.

Semi Auto Pistol or Revolver
Eye and Ear Protection (We provide if you need it)
50 Rounds Minimum of Factory Ammunition
Spare Magazines for Semi Autos (recommended)
Speed Loader or Speed Strip for Revolvers (recommended)
8 hour class.
NOTICE!
In order attend the TN Handgun Carry Permit Class, all students MUST obtain a unique CONFIRMATION number from the State of TN Prior to taking the course.
