KENTUCKY CARRYING OF CONCEALED DEADLY WEAPONS LICENSE TRAINING
Are you a Kentucky resident and looking to get your Concealed Carry License? Have you heard the horror stories of having to sit through long videos or awful instructors who just want to brag about how much they know? Rest assured, this class is not one of those. So, what is so special about our class?
Our Concealed Carry License Training program, approved by the Kentucky State Police, meets the training requirements of KRS 237.110 (4)(i) to obtain the Kentucky CCDW License. The class is an introductory into firearms safety, handgun operation, shooting fundamentals, situational awareness, and the legal responsibilities of armed citizens. Our class features many student centered, interactive exercises. Although our class is an introductory course, both beginners and those more experienced with firearms will benefit from this course.

Q: Do I need to own a gun?
A: No. If you do not have one, please contact us ahead of time.
Q: Do I need to have shot a gun before?
A: No. This is an introductory course which covers basic fundamentals. Our instructors are here to work with you. That’s what you’re paying us for.
Q: What items do I need to bring?
A: If you have a handgun, please bring it (Unloaded, in a range bag or case). You will need a box of factory loaded ammunition (no steel case or steel core ammo), hearing and eye protection. We shoot in an indoor range. Make sure that your hearing protection is adequate. We always recommend a baseball style cap for the range. No loose neck shirts or tank tops. No open toe shoes.
Q: What is needed to pass the class?
A: First and foremost, you need to demonstrate safe firearms handling (No violations of the Rules of Gun Safety). Second, pass a simple, written test. One retest is permitted. If you need to have the questions given verbally, please contact us ahead of time and we can accommodate. And third, pass the Live Fire Test. One retest is permitted.
