Amy-Jill Levine speaking on Jesus and Judaism and why the connection matters
Understanding Jesus as a Jew is essential for understanding both the New Testament and the Christian faith. In this thought-provoking lecture, Amy-Jill Levine explores the Jewish identity of Jesus, the Jewish roots of Christianity, and the consequences of overlooking these connections. By examining the historical and theological relationship between Jesus and Judaism, participants will gain new insights into Scripture while fostering greater appreciation and respect between Jewish and Christian communities.
We are offering afternoon tea on conclusion of the presentation at the Synod Office.
