Calling all creators, thinkers, artists, tinkerers, and inventors! We’re building quantum speed space elevators, bloodstream navigating nano-bots, and epically-scaled, working models of DaVinci pulleys, planes, and levers to catch ghost particles, move mountains, and split atoms. We’ll reimagine revolutions in tech that put you and me at the center of sustainable change. We’ll 3D design and build circuits in Tinkercad and 3D print our objects or import them into Minecraft to build Redstone-powered contraptions, from steam pressured and fossil fuelled to windspun and star powered. We’ll animate 2D characters in Piskel and import them into Scratch-coded games and apps. From smoke signals and morse code to smarter phones and quantum computing, we’re journeying into a sustainable world that we build project by project every day. Projects we’ll Create!
Hands-On Art & Engineering: Design, build and test DaVinci pulleys, planes, levers to catch ghost particles, circuits in Tinkercad, and Redstone-powered contraptions.
3D Design & Printing in Tinkercad: Build 3D models of our own superhero and some zoo animals and then make them using the 3D printer.
3D Printing Pen Art: Hand-draw and build 3D printed designs from cell diagrams with Scratch or Piskel animation projects, then draw them with the 3D pen and take them home to share with your family and friends.
Circuit Building & Experiments: Build virtual prototypes of simple circuits using motors, batteries, microcontrollers, etc. with Tinkercad and remake them into Minecraft Redstone.
LEGO Hands-on Robotics & Engineering: Create obstacle courses with Lego bricks and navigate your robot to the goal line, play soccer and basketball and create a robot that can interact with other robots and even people.
Minecraft Inventions: Build planet-friendly farming, transportation, and renewable energy, design epic Redstone circuit rocketships and quantum speed elevators in a sandbox world of your own creation.
Piskel Animation: Make your own amazing 8-bit characters, badges, avatars and mods with frame by frame Piskel animations to use on your school projects, as Sprites for your Scratch projects, or cards for your friends and family.
Scratch Coding & Game Design: Create and Scratch code animated art, hero timelines, and interactive quizzes.
Tinkercad: 3D design with basic shapes anything that you can imagine. Recreate patterns found in nature and create your own avatar to start a journey for a new world!
