This workshop will introduce the Irish Vegetation Classification, a dynamic community-level scheme for describing and mapping Irish semi-natural vegetation. We will cover the structure and scope of the classification, examples of communities from different habitats and the resources available to practitioners, including the online ERICA application. A practical session on the campus will used to demonstrate how the classification can be applied.
