Join professional photographer Jason P. Odell to master fine-art landscape photography techniques in an environment that can only be described as surreal. You will explore light, texture and clouds over the tremendous rock formations that have formed from erosion over the last 500,000 years.
Master Fine Art Landscape Photography from Start to Finish
This workshop is the perfect setting for photographers who not only want to photograph spectacular scenery, but also learn the behind the scenes techniques for processing and workflow, including HDR, monochrome, and long exposures.
Each day, you will have the opportunity download and process your images with the group, receive critiques, and learn new techniques to make your photos into fine-art masterpieces. I will work with you to capture and process the best possible images into beautiful finished products. Our focus will be on the complete end to-end workflow of landscape photography, from composition to final digital or print output.
Experience Level: All Levels Welcome
This workshop is designed for all photographers who wish to go beyond the basics of composition and exposure. Participants must have a fundamental understanding of how to adjust exposure and focus in their camera. I strongly recommend bringing a laptop computer with the editing software of your choice so that you can learn how to work with raw images captured during the event.
Physical Activity Level: Low to moderate
Most of our photography will be from overlooks very close to parking areas. You will need to carry your photo gear short to medium distances, sometimes over uneven terrain or on stairways.
