The ASP has been replaced with a more detailed and analytical Inspection Data Summary Report for 2025 The changes are set to give schools much more flexibility in their use of the data, allowing them to drill down into the data in a much more focused and relevant way.
Alongside a revised inspection framework, the new approach will also allow schools to effectively analyse the data over both years - identifying trends and issues relevant to the school.
Following on from our successful ASP courses last year, we will once again be providing a series of one day courses to support schools in accessing this years data, along with becoming familiar with all the tools they have access to.
The course will cover :
- Comparing Data Over 2 and 3 Years
- Changes to the Data Set
- Using Filters and Built-in Tools
- Helping Governors/Trustees Understand the Data
- How To Find The ‘Headline Data’
- Identifying Strengths And Weaknesses
- Becoming Familiar With The New Tools
- The Links To The Inspection Framework
- Ofsted Expectations
The course will take participants through the new data tool, allowing them to identify (and become familiar with) the tools available to them. Participants should bring with them a laptop with which to access their own data. At the end of the day, schools will have
identified the key messages for their school from the data sets.
