Event Abstract
In the May 2024 lecture, the RAeS Heathrow Branch welcomes Adrian Constable, a historian at British Airways Speedbird Heritage Centre to provide our audience the British Airways’ version of “What did you do in the war, Daddy?”
In part, it is a well-known story, but drawing on the speaker’s own recent research to provide some new and hopefully interesting facts, insights and links.
Ahead of the lecture, there will be a brief session for the host of the Royal Aeronautical Society Heathrow Branch 2024 Annual General Meeting.
CPD | CPD certificates of attendance will be endorsed for CEng, IEng or EngTech registration.
