This will include everything you need to get started at your own pace.

Foundations .5 Course (Must have Completed Prior to 3 Day in Person)

The Foundations online (Kajabi) course provides a thorough grounding in the theoretical framework of developmental trauma, which you can complete at your own pace. Assignments help you explore activities for use with developmental trauma clients, enhancing activation access during sessions. You'll also engage in personal activations. This intensive dive into assessment and activation access may benefit from supportive discussions and Brainspotting-focused follow-ups.

Foundations Course Learning Objectives:

About Organizer

Josh Delahan is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Wisconsin and has been working with children, adults, couples, families, and groups since 1997. He is trained in several trauma-resolution (and other) therapies including: EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Experiencing, HeartMath, the Stress Model, Ego State therapy (parts work), Cognitive/Behavioral as well as Family Attachment Narrative Therapy. In the past, Josh has been an addictions counselor and created and directed an addiction-focused day treatment center for high school students. He has also worked as a Clinical Specialist for New Vision Wilderness, a therapeutic outdoor program in Northern Wisconsin. Josh was an instructor for master’s degree students in clinical social work and trauma counseling for the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at UW-Milwaukee for 12 years. He also served on the executive board for the Midwest Brainspotting Institute for 9 years and is a certified Brainspotting Consultant. Josh is a clinical supervisor and consultant for local mental health professionals, agencies, and school districts. He published a book in 2021 called “A Special Place in My Brain” for children who struggle with trauma-related behaviors. In 2026, Josh became an official Digging Roots 1.0 educator with the Developmental Trauma Training Institute. Josh is a happy husband and a proud father of two wonderful daughters.
