Improvers Paddling Course

This is a concentrated weekend course of instruction to allow you to make rapid progress in your paddling. Ideal for those who want to be able to concentrate on improving their paddling and develop their skills. The course can be undertaken in any boat of your choice, Canoe, general purpose Kayak, Stand up Paddleboard, Sit on Top Kayak, or touring kayak. During the weekend there will be an opportunity to experience different craft, paddles and equipment.

Course cost covers Water fees, Coaching costs and any equipment hire needed. If at the end of the course you have reached a sufficient standard to pass the Explore Award, then you will need to pay either £6 (British Canoeing Members) or £8(non-British Canoeing members) for your certification.

Prerequisities

Should have undertaken at least 6-8 paddling sessions previously, and ideally have a Discover award or 1 star award.
