Neil Rofsky, MD, is The Dr. Charles M. and Marilyn Newman Professor and Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic, Molecular and Interventional Radiology. He is also the Senior Associate Dean of Wellness and Coaching at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health Systems. He was formerly the Professor and Chair of UT Southwestern’s Department of Radiology and the Effie and Wofford Cain Distinguished Chair in Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Rofsky also served as Director of Translational Research for the Advanced Imaging Research Center (AIRC), a collaboration of UT Southwestern and the University of Texas at Dallas. As Chair of Radiology, he also lead efforts to rapidly bring the benefits of new technologies, including some developed at the AIRC, into clinical practice. A native of New York, Dr. Rofsky received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Maryland and his medical degree from New York Medical College. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Middlesex University Hospital; a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the University of Utah Medical Center; a residency in radiology at the New York University Medical Center; and fellowships in abdominal imaging and magnetic resonance imaging at New York University Medical Center, where he was mentored by Morton Bosniak, Alec Megibow, and Jeffrey Weinreb. Dr. Rofsky also previously served as Chief of MRI at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, and as Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rofsky concentrates his research on translating innovations in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) into clinical practice. Throughout his career he has been addressing the theoretical, technical, and practical challenges to utilizing several complex MRI methods as potential “biomarkers” for clinical studies. His current studies emphasize developing MRI techniques to improve detection and evaluation of prostate cancer and to better guide treatment. Dr. Rofsky has implemented MRI techniques such as arterial spin labeling (ASL) to measure blood flow in prostate and renal cell carcinomas to better assess the potential aggressiveness of tumors and the efficacy of treatments. Dr. Rofsky served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (SCBTMR), now known as the Society of Advanced Body Imaging (SABI), and was also President of SABI in 2014-2015. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Research Design & Statistical Analysis, her research focuses on the development and evaluation of advanced imaging technologies applied to the heart and lungs, including lung cancer, coronary artery and aortic disease, pulmonary embolism, and diffuse lung disease. She has given over 400 lectures, has over 300 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 30 book chapters and 4 books. She began the Radiology Service Excellence Program at U of M, with the department achieving the highest patient satisfaction scores in the health system. She is a frequently invited speaker on the topics of patient centered care & service excellence, lung cancer screening and lung disease, and is passionate about mentoring and coaching faculty and trainees as clinicians & scientists and as leaders. She is past president of the American Roentgen Ray Society, Association of University Radiologists, Society of Thoracic Radiology and Radiology Alliance for Health Services Research and past Trustee of the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Kazerooni currently Chairs the American Cancer Society’s National Lung Cancer Roundtable, is Vice Chair of the National Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Lung Cancer Screening panel, and Chairs the American College of Radiology’s Lung-RADS committee and the Lung Cancer Screening Registry (LCSR). These efforts are focused on bringing quality lung cancer screening to high risk individuals, and reduce the mortality from the #1 cancer killer.

An internationally recognized expert in musculoskeletal radiology, Dr. Sutter serves as Chief of Radiology at Balgrist University Hospital and Professor of Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Zurich, where he combines clinical excellence with innovative research in advanced musculoskeletal imaging.

Following his medical degree from the University of Zurich, Dr. Sutter completed radiology and pathology training at University Hospital Zurich, Kantonsspital Winterthur, and The Royal London Hospital in the United Kingdom. He subsequently completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Balgrist University Hospital before joining the faculty, ultimately becoming Chief of Radiology and a member of the hospital's executive board.

Dr. Sutter is internationally recognized for his expertise in advanced MRI and CT techniques, including high-field and ultra-high-field MRI, sports imaging, spine disorders, inflammatory musculoskeletal disease, postoperative imaging, and imaging of hip pathology. His research has helped advance techniques that improve diagnostic accuracy while reducing imaging artifacts around orthopedic implants.

An accomplished educator and researcher, Dr. Sutter has authored hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications, serves as the medical lead for the Swiss Center for Musculoskeletal Imaging (SCMI), and was appointed Course Director for Musculoskeletal Radiology for the internationally renowned International Diagnostic Course Davos (IDKD) in 2026. In recognition of his contributions to musculoskeletal imaging, he received the President's Medal of the International Skeletal Society in 2018.

Kevin M. Rice, MD is the president of Global Radiology CME Dr. Rice is a radiologist with Renaissance Imaging Medical Associates and has held many leadership positions including Radiology Department Chair, Chief of Staff and Member of the Board of Directors at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Rice has made several media appearances as part of his ongoing commitment to public education. Dr. Rice's passion for state of the art radiology and teaching includes acting as a guest lecturer at UCLA. In 2015, Dr. Rice and Natalie Rice founded Global Radiology CME to provide innovative radiology education at exciting international destinations, with the world's foremost authorities in their field.
