The talk will however focus on identification in the field, looking at wetland bird plumages and how and where to find and observe these animals in Ireland. Following this theoretical introduction in the morning, we will make the short journey into Lough Boora Discovery Park which contains rich wetland habitat, perfect for exercising one’s avian identification skills.
