Attendance at this event will help you to meet the Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) Primary Care Network (PCN) domain
By attending one of these events you will understand:
- The changes to the Pharmacy Contract and what you need to do to get ready
- The new Pharmacy Quality Scheme
- Primary Care Networks (PCNs) – what are they? How are they going to change the local NHS environment? Why it’s important that pharmacy is involved – this will include starting the process to identify the lead for your PCN to meet the new PQS criterion
- Meet the pharmacies in your network, confirm ways of working and communication between your network
- The new Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) – what it involves and why you should get involved
The events are locality specific and will take place on one the following dates:
Knowsley – 4th November 2019
Monday 4th November 2019 at The Suites Hotel, Ribblers Lane, Prescott, L34 9HA
St Helens – 6th November 2019
Wednesday 6th November 2019 at Totally Wicked Stadium, McManus Drive, St Helens, WA9 3AL
Halton – 21st November 2019
Thursday 21st November 2019 at The Best Western Everglades Hotel, Derby Rd, Widnes, WA8 3UJ
All events will start from 6.45pm with light refreshments. The main presentations and workshops will start at 7.15pm. We aim to finish by 9.30pm at the latest.
Please note there are a maximum of 2 places available per pharmacy.
In order to help you complete your Primary Care Network PQS criteria, please make every effort to attend your local event (where you work, not where you live).
- If you are unable to attend that event, please do book onto an alternative
- If you are unable to attend the events but still wish to be considered as part of your PCN or for the role of PCN lead for your network please contact the LPC (louise.hshk.lpc@gmail.com) prior to your locality event expressing an interest
