Knitting Factory Entertainment is pleased to present HIRIE at The Federal Underground in Long Beach. The show is 18+ and tickets are $15: http://tktwb.tw/1tsVwFo.

Backed by a seven-piece band, HIRIE stormed onto the music scene in 2013, quickly becoming one of the most played artists on the Hawaiian Islands. Born in the Philippines, raised in Italy and living the biggest and most influential portion of her life in Hawaii, HIRIE considers herself an island girl at heart. She explains, "The island-way of living is contagious; healing the mind, body and spirit. The same goes for its music.” Her music is a “lifestyle” to which she wishes to introduce her listeners, disconnecting them from their troubles and lifting them to a higher space. With a willingness to cross genres, and oscillate between acoustic tracks and raging beats, HIRIE is the voice meant to connect reggae music with a universal, contemporary audience.
