Come join old and new colleagues for an evening of food, fun and networking!
The Happy Social Worker Society is a unique monthly social networking experience for social workers and human services professionals. What makes us unique, you ask?
You get to eat good food and meet great people (or mingle with ones we already know) in a laid back, yet fun, social environment. Not your run of the mill networking event (smile)
If you are a NY licensed social worker you will walk away with one CE contact hour! Each month we will feature a different one-hour workshop that will not only enrich your professional practice, but more importantly your own life!
NOTE: CASAC CE clock hours are PENDING as of the publication of this event.
Join us on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, 6:30pm-8:30pm as we enjoy a workshop:
THE ESSENTIALS OF SELF-GROUNDING
Has your work, combined with the rest of life's responsibilities, ever had you feeling spaced out, brain fog, overwhelmed? The usual reaction is to try to will ourselves back into feeling centered. The truth is, we are out of energetic alignment and are ungrounded. This workshop will teach you the easy methods to grounding and centering yourself back into your body, mind and spirit.
Join us as we learn about...and demonstrate…a few new techniques for using centering techniques with your clients, and for yourself!
UPON COMPLETION OF THIS WORKSHOP, YOU WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE FOR 1 CE HOUR!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
