YOU ARE INVITED to attend a "standing ovation" presentation by Colonel (ret) Stoli Nikolai, USAFA '89 and Presidential Appointee to the US Air Force Academy Board of Visitors, entitled "HABITS OF HONOR, FAITH and PATRIOTISM", followed by questions and updates about the service academies' Boards of Visitors.
Stoli’s presentation is designed to rekindle one’s patriotism for our great nation, remind you that your faith and honor still have a place in today’s world and motivate people to make a difference through a series of historic vignettes and stories from his 26-year Air Force career. Stoli has presented this to over 70 civic, political and religious organizations across the U.S. with many a standing ovation.
His presentation will be on Tuesday, July 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm) in Room 110 of the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership at Charleston Southern University in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Speaker Biography:
Colonel (ret) Doug "Stoli" Nikolai retired from the Air Force in the rank of full Colonel after 26 years of service and accumulating almost 3,000 hours in the F-16 of which over 400 hours were combat time in the Middle East.
Colonel Nikolai’s final assignment was working in the Pentagon in Air Force Operations where he helped manage a 450 million dollar flying budget and provide oversight to combat, rescue, and air mobility aircraft programs and missions.
Other notable assignments consisted of Vice Commander at a Fighter Wing in South Korea where he commanded over 3,400 Airmen; as an Air Force Legislative Affairs Officer while working on Capitol Hill and as an F-16 Fighter Squadron Commander in Germany.
Stoli works for BGI-LLC as an F-16 Simulator Instructor/Subject Matter Expert and in April 2025 received an appointment by President Trump to serve on the U.S. Air Force Academy Board of Visitors.
He lives in Texas and is married with four kids.
