This workshop will assist clinicians to enhance confidence in understanding and applying principles of group facilitation methods to support delivery of group-based Community Health programs. The session will focus on i) Understanding adult learning principles and roles/ responsibilities of an effective facilitator; ii) Dealing with difficult group dynamics; iii) Practical application of facilitation in a community health setting.
Preparation prior to the session may be required to support scenario based discussion and skills practice.
