This goal of these sessions is to raise the capacity of all staff members to work collaboratively towards Home Forward’s racial equity values and goals.
Date/Time: Tuesdays, March 1 and 22; April 12; May 3. All sessions from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM.

Participant Objectives:
- Articulate the characteristics of and difference between structural racism and interpersonal racism
- Understand and advance the goals and strategies of organizational racial equity
- Identify and analyze racial inequities in organizational policies, practices, norms, etc.
- Employ creative strategies to navigate barriers and challenges to creating more equitable organizational outcomes
- Recognize common signs & symptoms of trauma and stress responses and access tools and resources for nervous system regulation
- Strengthen tools and skills for managing conflict with accountability
