GRIT 2026: A two-day training program that includes hands-on skill sessions, live fire, realistic scenario-based training evolutions and incident command system training. This program has proven over the years that it is as real as it gets. Join us for the two-days of intense training with some of the finest firefighter instructors.

Explaination of ticket options available:
- Hands-On:
- Required to be an Interior Firefighter.
- Intended for firefighters that have some experience as interior firefighting and has the basic fundimental skills.
- Saturday there are 8-9 skills stations:
- Broken into 6-7 person groups.
- Stations: (May be adjusted without updating list)
- Block Wall Breach
- Delayering
- Heavy Lifting
- Maze
- RIT Box
- Enlarged Opening
- Rope-led Search
- Basement Rescue
- Force Entry
- Sunday Morning:
- Combined into 12-14 person groups.
- 4 Rotations including two live fire stations and two scenarios.
- Sunday Afternoon:
- Final Full scale scenario with all participants.
- Command (Saturday Only):
- For any Fire Officer. Unlimted Space
- Lecture on being command/officer during a RIT/FAST rescue.
- Taught be Battalion Chiefs from the area.
- Command (Both Days):
- For any Fire Officer. Limited to five students. Chiefs/Captains prefered.
- Saturday is the same as the Saturday Only Command above.
- Sunday Morning:
- Rotate being incident command and operation officers for the Hands-on Students.
- Sunday Afternoon:
- Final Full Scale Scenario
- One will be OIC and the other command 4 divisions of 12-14 Hands-On Students.
- Instructors are along side them and assist/teach as needed.
Schedule:
- 7AM - 8 AM is breakfast and Check-in (Vitals taken for Hands-On Students) each day.
- Saturday April 18th 8AM - 4:45 PM
- Sunday, April 19th 8AM - Around 3 PM
- Dinner provided after both days. Beverages and snacks provided throughout the event.
