From the 23rd floor of Federal Plaza, FBI and SEC investigators surveyed the New York skyline, home to the world’s financial industry. They had received disturbing intelligence: a surge in profits at hedge funds might be the result of an epidemic of insider trading.   Before the investigation was completed, billionaire hedge fund manager Raj Rajaratnam, a board member of Goldman Sachs, and 70 other executives were convicted of federal crimes.  

 

It was because guest speaker Roomy Khan wore a wire.  But then she double-crossed the government. 

 

Now out of federal prison, this is her story.
