About the Gesellen Fechten 2026

GF26 will be our 10th annual HEMA event! 

Gesellen Fechten 2026 has the goal of being the most professional and competitive HEMA event hosted in the USA. 

The Tournament this year will be a 3 day event at a huge indoor facility in the heart of Oklahoma City. 

The event will have:

  • Professional staff for every tournament. No volunteers. Consistent reffing and judging. 
  • Some of the toughest competitors in HEMA coming from all around the globe. 
  • Huge indoor arena with multiple rings. Action all day!
  • Vendors with gear and swag shops.
  • Some of the best instructors from around the world coming to teach classes.
  • Multiple Skill Divisons of Longsword to compete in. 
  • Single Rapier Event
  • Saber Event 
  • Sword and Buckler Event
  • Small Sword Event
  • Messer Event
  • A format that prioritizes defensive skills rather than reckless offense.

Master Class with Jeremy Pace.

 

Jeremy will be working for an hour long class in Longsword. This class is for all skill levels and abilities. The Master Class is a format where you will spar then be given some guided instruction on adjustments to make to your training and opportunities you have with your skills in fencing.

Cancellation policy

PLEASE NOTE! Cancelations will be able to be refunded up to September 1st. After September 1st there will be no refunds on the event. 

There is a 20$ service fee for any Cancelations. 

Who Should Attend?

This event is ideal for all levels of fencers. 

  • For newer students we will have entry level competitions and classes taught by some of the best instructors in the region (world?!)
  • For the gear heads we will have a ton of vendors and items for purchase. Come play with new kit or get your kit on site!
  • For the serious competitors we have 3 tiers of longsword. Each tier has rule modifiers to increase the challenge and defensive play you want to show your Art.
