Event Abstract
One of the most important and landmark events of the RAeS Heathrow Branch, the Sholto Douglas Named Lecture, returns this March.
The Sholto Douglas Named Lecture has been supported by many major names in aviation, including Prothero Thomas, Lord King, Bob Crandall, Sir Michael Bishop, Sir John Egan and Sir Alistair Morton.
Taking airline and transport management as its theme, the 33rd Sholto Douglas Named Lecture will be held in the form of a Fireside Chat, welcoming Sean Doyle, CEO & Chairman of British Airways, to share his thoughts and on the 'Future Plans for British Airways' with Jonathon Counsell FRAeS, Group Director of Sustainability, International Airlines Group.
This event is also part of our programme celebrating the RAeS Heathrow Branch's 70th anniversary. For 70 years, 1956-2026, from local talent to global skies: the Branch has supported the operational heart of Heathrow Airport, its airlines and the local community.
