Christian Allaire, Senior Fashion and Style Writer at Vogue, will speak about his new memoir, From the Rez to the Runway, in conversation with Prof. Natalie Nudell on Wednesday, November 19th at 6pm in Katie Murphy Amphitheater.
Growing up on the Nipissing First Nation reserve in Northern Ontario, Allaire wanted to work in the fashion industry, a future that seemed like a remote, and unlikely, dream. He will speak about how he made it a reality, while always remaining true to himself.
