Workshop 1: 9:00am to 12:00pm
Specialist Mathematics Unit 1
The two prescribed topics covered in this workshop are Number systems and recursion and Geometry in the plane and proof. Participants will use various functionalities of TI-Nspire™ CAS, including some less familiar features, to explore important concepts from these two prescribed topics.
Lunch: 12:00 to 12:30
Workshop 2: 12:45pm to 3:45pm
Specialist Mathematics Unit 3
Topics covered in this workshop include Vectors, Complex numbers, Graphs of rational and reciprocal functions and Calculus. Participants will use various functionalities of TI-Nspire™ CAS, including some less familiar features, to explore important concepts from these topics. Highlighted activities will provide participants with skills that they can apply to their own SACs.
Catering will be provided, PD Certificates and Teacher Resources will be given to each participant.
