Suitable for those at 2 star or Paddle Explore award standard, or those wanting to undertake the Paddle explore award.

This course is designed to support paddlers to think about safety and to learn effective rescue techniques on flat or slow moving water.

You will learn how to rescue Kayaks, Canoes, Sit on Tops and Stand up Paddleboards.  The course is ideal for those wanting to move to becoming an independent paddler, and will give you the confidence to rescue yourself or others.

This course is a pre-requirement for anyone wanting to undertake a Paddlesport Instructor award, and is ideal for those thinking about doing the Paddlesport Leader award.

Cost is £35 including BCU certificate.
