Texas leads the nation in launching businesses. Hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs bet on themselves every year.
Small businesses make up 99% of all businesses in Texas. They employ about half the state's workforce. And only half of them survive.
That's the gap the Foundation for Better Business addresses. Our mission is simple: we propel the potential of Texas entrepreneurs by delivering essential education, vital resources, and powerful networks that spark growth, fuel leadership, and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Texas.
Since our small business accelerator, Ignite, opened in February 2025, more than 1,000 people have walked through the doors ready to build, learn, teach, and strengthen our economy.
