Wheelchair Basketball - Play with a Paralympian

Ready to try wheelchair basketball in a fun, welcoming, and no-cost session that’s open to every one—regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or ability. You don’t need to have a physical disability to play—this is truly an inclusive sport for all. These “Play with a Paralympian” sessions are an opportunity for every'body' to get on court to play along side Paralympic medal winning Bo Hedges

Whether you’re looking for a family activity, a unique date night idea, a way to stay active after an injury, or some cross-training variety, wheelchair basketball is an engaging and energetic choice. This is an opportunity to try the sport or to continue playing more regularly and even step into more competitive environments. (Right now, we are especially looking for youth between the ages of 12–20 who are interested in representing their community at the BC Winter Games in February 2026. No prior experience is necessary.)

Registration for this event is required or there will not be equipment ready!
Membership with Northern Adapted Sports Assocaition ($75 adults, $60 youth) gives you an assigned sports wheelchair set up to your requirements. Contact for full details.

We know that life happens but please take the time to let us know if you are unable to attend as it there is a knock on impact with adapted equipment.
