Have A Go Wheelchair Basketball

(Contrary to what it may say this event is 1:00pm-3:00pm Nov 1st)

Come try wheelchair basketball in a fun, welcoming, and no-cost session that’s open to every one—regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or ability. You don’t need to have a physical disability to play—this is truly an inclusive sport for all. These “Have A Go” sessions are designed around fun games and basic skills, making them a perfect way to experience the excitement of the sport.

Whether you’re looking for a family activity, a unique date night idea, a way to stay active after an injury, or some cross-training variety, wheelchair basketball is an engaging and energetic choice. For those who enjoy it, there are also opportunities to continue playing more regularly and even step into more competitive environments. (Right now, we are especially looking for youth between the ages of 12–20 who are interested in representing their community at the BC Winter Games in February 2026. No prior experience is necessary.)

This is a taster session for a great, fun, and inclusive activity that everyone can enjoy—come roll with us and give it a try!
