Overview
Imagine a room full of tables and presenters, each talking about topics ranging from innovative teaching strategies, to cool gardening techniques, to taking memorable photographs, to producing compelling videos, to online safety and computer security...and much more. This is Flash Talks: engaging presentations from members of the AUM community, as they sharing their knowledge, experiences, and skills with each other, in a fast-paced speed dating format. Every 9 minutes a buzzer sounds, and people rotate to a new presentation. Their choice, their sequence. Click here for the list of presentations offered in each session.

Schedule
Two sessions, each with Presentations that run 8:30 minute (a total of 6 presentations in each session). (Please note: there is a 1:30 minute break between each Presentation to allow people to move to their next presentation table).

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Robin McGill, Alabama Commission on Higher Education
Title: "Who We serve: Public Higher Education Across Alabama"
Dr. McGill serves as Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE). As the agency’s chief academic and student success officer, she manages a broad portfolio of work that includes academic program review, work-based learning, college access initiatives, sponsored programs, and state authorization for distance education. She represents public higher education on numerous statewide committees, including as a member of the Alabama STEM Council, the Alabama Committee on Credentialing and Career Pathways (ACCCP), and the Articulation and General Studies Committee (AGSC).
