Second of four FREE Financial Literacy/Economic Empowerment workshops open to ALL.  Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for Registration and Continental Breakfast.  The workshop starts at 9:00 a.m.

 

The May 4th session will focus on ENTREPRENEURSHIP as follows:

•         Differences between self- employment, small business owner, entrepreneur, independent contractor

•         What is a business plan and why is it necessary?

•         What skills are necessary to own and operate your own business?

•         How do you access and manage risk?

•         What kind of financing is available?

•         What kind of resources are available?

•         How do I market my business?

 

•         How should I structure my business?

•         Resources - where to go for help
