University of Bari Aldo Moro, 1, Bari, Puglia, 70100, Italy.

Start and end times are not finalized--please reserve the entire day if you plan to attend this field trip!

Have you ever been to Apulia? On this day you will have the opportunity to experience a taste of beauties and excellencies of Puglia, which will make you fall in love with this land of red earth, blue sky and crystal-clear sea!

Our tour will begin in the morning of 7 June with a visit to Castel del Monte, a 13th-century fortification built by the famous Frederick II of Svevia, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will reach our destination by private transfer for our group, accompanied by two tour guides who will be with us throughout the day, to tell us stories and anecdotes about Puglia.

After the visit, we will head to a nearby 'Masseria', a typical Apulian farmhouse in the countryside, now used as a restaurant (or sometimes as a hotel) to sample local delicacies in true Apulian style! In the afternoon, we will explore the city of Trani: its cathedral, just a few steps from the sea, has made Trani very famous in Italy and abroad! And, why not, before returning, we will take a walk through its characteristic streets and enjoy an ice cream to refresh ourselves!

The fee includes:

• Entrance and visit to Castel del Monte

• Typical lunch in a Masseria

• Walking tour in Trani

• 2 tour guides

• 1 transfer (bus) for the whole day

• Daily medical insurance

The Global Legal Skills Institute grew out of the Global Legal Skills Conference—an international conference that fosters the support and development of legal skills training for law students and advocates around the world. Originally conceptualized and organized by Mark Wojcik, the Global Legal Skills Conferences have focused on international legal education and essential skills, including legal writing, legal research, legal reasoning, legal English, translations and advocacy skills. Presentations have included application of pedological methods to support the design and creation of appropriate materials and assignments, recognizing and addressing cross-cultural and intercultural issues, classroom teaching, clinical legal education, academic support, international legal exchanges and related fields.
