How to Get Here

Access via the A525 Wrexham road only. Follow yellow road signs for "FESTEVIL" on arrival. Google maps postcode " LL13 0SR ". Located at Bryn Y Grog, Marchwiel, Wrexham. 

What to Expect

Upon arriving you will be checked in and assessed by our scientists and given a safety briefing before entering the experiment. Once our scientists are satisfied, they will instruct you to proceed into the first zone to face the first fear. Once you enter the event you cannot turn around. You MUST take part in the event for its entirety, no matter how scary the scenes are. You may be asked to leave your car in some sections of the maze and you must comply (Those with accessible needs exempt). If you have access needs please inform the ticketing staff on arrival. You should not take part if you do not like your hands being tied and a bag putting over your head. Actors may touch you, but at no point should you touch them or you will be removed from the experiment. 

Every zone is a controlled environment in order to gain the best results for our testing. Each zone will test a different fear, maybe even a fear you didn't know you had.

As you enter a zone you will approach a red light, stop and switch off your engine. Only then can the testing begin. If your engine is not turned off, we are unable to begin the test.

Once testing in that zone is complete, the light will turn green, only then can you re-start your engine and proceed to the next zone to face the next fear.

Our experiment is designed to test different fear receptors, both physically & mentally. At times throughout the experiment you may be removed from the vehicle, please follow all instructions given.

Our 10 zones are made to test every fear you may have... Fear of the Dark, Fear of God, Fear of Spiders, Fear of the Dead, Fear of Abduction, Fear of Separation, Fear of Dying, Fear of Dolls, Fear of Clowns and more!

The Site

FestEVIL returns to its original site at Bryn Y Grog Marchwiel where the event began in 2020!

Toilets are available on site. The sale of merchandise, hot and cold - food & drinks will be available. We accept card & cash onsite. We have entertainment such as fairground rides too. 

Event Terms & Conditions (PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE BUYING A TICKET)

• There is a maximum of 5 people per vehicle allowed. If Your car looks overcrowded additional checks may be made by Event staff or security personnel to ensure Your safety at the Event.
• Please arrive at the designated time slot. Please do not arrive early as you wont be granted access to the site. You have a 1 hour slot in which to arrive. If you miss this slot you must purchase a new ticket as you will not be granted entry. 
• There is a strict maximum vehicle height restriction of 2.1m. If you have hard aerials / roof boxes or any other hard object that may exceed this, please remove them or you will not be permitted into the Event. Large vans are not permitted through this event.
• ​In some areas, you may be asked to exit the vehicle by our performers. Please follow all instructions given.
• Actors may touch you, at no point must you touch the actors. They have been trained professionally and are recorded by CCTV at all times.
• 24 hour CCTV will be in operation throughout the Event and will be monitored by trained security staff.
• All security personnel / police and / or Event staff are entitled to refuse entry, or remove You or Your vehicle, without refund, if Your behaviour is impacting on, or is likely to impact on, the enjoyment and/or safety of any other guest or member of staff at the Event
• At Our discretion, future access to the Event may be denied to any guest who has previously been denied entry or escorted from the Event.
• You will be given a full safety briefing by staff before you enter the Event. Please follow all instructions given by Event staff.
• Doors must be kept unlocked and windows must remain down in case of emergency.
• ​You are responsible for ensuring Your car is safe and has a valid Insurance & MOT certificate.
• ​If, at any point, Event staff suspect you may be under the influence whilst driving, you will be immediately ejected from the event, without refund, and authorities may be called.
• ​When driving through the Event there is a strict 5mph speed limit in force.
• ​A traffic light system is in place for you to follow.
• As you approach a red light, stop, apply your handbrake and switch off your engine. Only once you have done this, can the scene commence. If you do not turn off your engine, the scene will not commence and you may miss out in that zone.
• When the scene has finished, the light will then turn green, only then, can you turn on your engine and proceed through to the next zone.
• In an emergency, illuminate your hazard lights and a member of Event staff will assist you. Hazard lights must ONLY be used in an emergency situation, as this may shut the event down to help with the emergency.
• Set pieces may be used on the route between zones to enhance Your experience.
• We accept no responsibility for any damages at the Event. You are liable for any injury, accident or damage caused by the the fault of the driver, Event staff, performer or any other 3rd party.
