We're delighted to announce a walk led by Paul and Kathleen Carberry on their farm at Kilranelagh Lodge Country House and Farm, near Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow as part of the Great Irish Grasslands trail
The farm walk will include:
- species-rich grassland
- farm wetlands and ponds
- wildflowers, bumblebees, butterflies and lots more!
Places limited.
Clothing: Sturdy walking boots for uneven ground. Please dress appropriately for the weather and outdoor terrain.
Not suitable for children under 16 years of age.
Dogs are not welcome on farm walks.
Health & Safety: Please be mindful that this walk includes an element of learning outdoors. Warm waterproof clothing and good walking footwear are essential. As a rule of thumb, it is generally expected that any participants who sign up for a workshop that involves spending time in the outdoors will own and bring the appropriate outdoor clothing. A risk assessment for this event has been completed and participants are asked to listen carefully to the safety briefings that are delivered on the day.
