EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety & Health Requirements – Live Online Training

5-Day Live Instructor-Led Online Training | Monday–Friday | $350

This course is designed for anyone who must comply with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) safety and health requirements under EM 385-1-1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, on federal and military projects.

Attendees will learn to locate and apply standards and procedures established by EM 385-1-1 and USACE contract requirements for hazard identification, control, and jobsite safety.

The course includes practical application of:

  • Site-specific Accident Prevention Plans (APP)

  • Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA)

  • Hazard identification and control

  • Site training requirements

  • Incident response procedures

  • Jobsite safety auditing

  • Contractor safety responsibilities

  • Personal protective equipment

  • Fall protection

  • Electrical safety

  • Excavation and trenching

  • Scaffolding and ladders

  • Material handling and equipment safety

  • USACE safety documentation and compliance

Training Schedule

5-Day Course — Monday through Friday

8:00 AM–4:30 PM Pacific Time each day

Students should plan to attend the full scheduled course.

Live Instructor-Led Online Training via Zoom

This is a live, interactive course with opportunities for questions, discussion, review of EM 385-1-1 requirements, and practical application of course concepts.
