Early this week (Nov 1st, 2016), Gia Gentile (6yrs old) was diagnosed with stage four

Neuroblastoma, a frequent childhood form of cancer that develops in the nerve tissue outside of the central nervous system. For those of you who might recognize the name “Gentile”, Carmine Gentile (Gia’s father) and Dominic Gentile (Gia’s uncle) are two of Harrison’s “finest” and have been serving on The Harrison Police force for many years. Dana Gentile ( Gia's mom) is a 5th grade teacher and has worked in the Pelham School District for more than 10 years.  In addition, Gia’s grandfather (Sal Gentile,) runs a local landscaping company in the Westchester area and has probably been servicing many of you for years. Although we are confident in Gia’s recovery, it will be a difficult road for both she and the family. It looks like she will probably need to be in the hospital for the better part of the next year.
