Leadership is a skill that can be developed by everyone. Leadership principles and practice can be applied in all the spheres of your life. As you progress up the management chain your leadership skills are increasingly called upon to develop and sustain your charity and to engage, motivate and deploy employees. This workshop will assist you in developing and applying many practical skills that will help to make you a better and more dynamic leader.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Use tools and methodologies to improve their management and leadership skills
  • Understand the importance of personal development, managing wellbeing and remaining authentic and brave so that you can motivate and support others to improve themselves, improve your organisation and deliver positive change for beneficiaries
  • Consider and discuss why poor, or bad, leadership is so prevalent
  • Consider the importance of personal purpose as way to guide and focus teams
  • Understand how to model yourself on leaders who demonstrate good leadership
  • Get an understanding of what team members expect and want from you
  • Get tools and methodologies to develop your leadership skills to protect yourself, and build personal resilience
  • Have a better understanding of how to self-motivate so that you can better motivate your team to create great organisational results
