This exciting debate shall introduce the concept of retrofitting older buildings as opposed to demolishing them in a city known for it’s modern architecture.

 

 

 

Eng. Rashad Bukhash is a very distinguished Architect in Dubai and dedicated most of his career to conserving Dubai’s heritage architecture. He’s the President of the UAE Architectural Heritage Society as well as a previous member of the UAE’s Federal National Council and Director of Dubai Municipality’s Architectural Heritage Department.

 

 

 

The panel shall include a Structural Engineer, Architect, MEP Engineer, and Contractor.
